Short Description:

The hplc column end plugs has a standard 10-32 fitting. These fittings are constructed from premium grade natural PEEK material. They are intended for use with PEEK or fused silica tubing ar pressures up to 10000 psi, or the max pressure for which the tubing is rated, whichever is lower.

When chromatographic analysis requires frequent replacement of columns, how should the replaced columns be stored? Generally speaking, it is sufficient to seal the ends of the columns for a short period.

Column plugs made of Delrin material are more flexible and adaptable, which can achieve the sealing effect without damaging the sealing surface inside the column.

Fingertight, with wrench flats

Fingertight column end plugs fit all columns with 10-32 threads. Easy handling is guaranteed by an additional wrench flat, which allows the plug to be loosened by a wrench if it gets stuck. The long design and threading down to the ferrule ensure safe closing of valuable columns.
