The in-line filter assembly effectively prevents damage to the instrument and column from bacteria and tiny particles in the sample and mobile phase. the filter assembly made of PEEK and PAT (a composite of PEEK and Teflon) provides full biocompatibility while effectively resisting chemical corrosion. In addition, the advanced design process allows the assembly to have virtually no dead volume, so the in-line filter assembly can be used in a wide variety of analytical applications with little to no peak expansion or column failure.

For columns with 5 µm or larger particle sizes, we recommend using a 2 µm pore size filter assembly, and for columns, with smaller packing sizes we recommend using a 0.5 µm filter assembly.
