UHPLCS丨All the chromatography knowleges that you want to know are here

Since the invention of chromatography in the early 20 century, it has become the most important separation science and widely used in lots of areas such as petrochemical, organic synthesis, physiologybiochemistry, medicine & health, environment protection even space exploration and so on. Chromatography is the most widely used and the most developed study area in Analytical Chemistry. There is no doubt that it is a booming and full of challenges industry. The detection measure, the new study of the Stationary Phase, the expert system and new measures of chromatography have been much discussed. For chromatography industry practitioners or a beginner, it is necessary to learn basic pieces of knowledge and industry dynamics.

Chromatographic Analysischromatography is a separation method of analysis. It uses different forcesbetween each component and the mobile phase, stationary phase(adsorption, distribution, exchange and so on) . Performing the separation first and then detector each component contants in a certain order.

Liquid column chromatography: It is a kind of separation and analysis methods technologies. The characteristic is the liquid as the mobile phase. UHPLCS liquid column chromatography series product is used in the liquid chromatography system. Equipment plays an important role in the operation of an instrument.

Gas chromatography: Gas chromatography is divided into gas-solid chromatography and gas-liquid chromatography. The gas-solid chromatography is a chromatographic method that the gas as the mobile phase and the solid as a stationary phase. UHPLCS air-resistor is used in the gas chromatography system. Our air-resistor has the advantage of excellent permeability, anti-corrosion, heat-resistant, sturdy and durable, easy cleaning and long service time. It uses to choked flow, limiting flow and constant flow.

Mobile phase and stationary phase: In all chromatography there is a mobile phase and a stationary phase. The stationary phase is the phase that doesn’t move and the mobile phase is the phase that does move. The mobile phase moves through the stationary phase picking up the compounds to be tested.

Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) is an analytical technique that couples the features of gas chromatography with that of mass spectrometry to identify different constituents within a sample mixture.

Liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC–MS) is an analytical chemistry technique that combines the physical separation capabilities of liquid chromatography (or HPLC) with the mass analysis capabilities of mass spectrometry (MS)

Gas ChromatographyInfrared Spectroscopy: Like GC-MS, this is a separation technique followed by an identification, in this case using infrared spectroscopy. It is widely used in industry as well as in research. It is a simple and reliable technique for measurement, quality control and dynamic measurement. It is also employed in forensic analysis in civil and criminal analysis.

Expert system:It is a combination of chromatography and information technology products. According to the different research contents of the application of chromatography, there are need different mobile phase, stationary phase, pretreatment and other condition. Thus it also needs a large of practical experience. The expert system for chromatographic is a program that simulates an expert way of thinking providing help to chromatography users.

Preparative chromatography:Preparative chromatography is a technique used for separating the ingredients of complex mixtures. It is used in the pharmaceutical industry to purify molecules by cleaning them of their impurities. Once purified, the molecules are used for various applications, such as clinical supply  in the case of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API).

Analytical chromatography is used to determine the existence and possibly also the concentration of analyte(s) in a sample. A bonded phase is a stationary phase that is covalently bonded to the support particles or to the inside wall of the column tubing.
