Working principle
When the liquid flows through the in-line filter, particles larger than the aperture of the sieve plate will be retained by the frit to ensure that the liquid flowing out is free of large particles so that they cannot entering the column and detector, preventing the preparation column from clogging due to large particles, thus extending the service life of the preparation column and reducing the wear and tear of the seals.

The uHPLCs 10mm online filter. The small disc in the picture refers to the inline filter frit, which is the core component of the inline filter. The volume is not large, and the role is not small, for large particles to play the role of interception, to ensure that the liquid into the column conventional frit is 3μm, for the preparation of liquid phase system to build a line of defense, just like a solid shield.
In-line filters are available in 10, 20, and 30 mm sizes for liquid phase systems with different flow rates and systems, with the following product advantages.
Frits can be cleaned for repeated use.
Improves preparation efficiency and prevents experiments from being suspended due to column clogging.
Reduces consumable loss due to repeated loading of the column after clogging.
