Stainless Steel Frit 2µm 6.5 x 3.2mm – Single
HPLC frits are capable of withstanding high-pressure applications, resisting highly acidic solvents, and are non-shedding, promoting overall column quality and contributing to more credible test results.
Stainless Steel Frit offers the convenience of having the most commonly used porosity used throughout HPLC systems. Stainless steel frit is encased in a natural PEEK polymer ring for enhanced performance and proper sealing. It offers excellent uniform porosity and a long filtration life.
APPLICATION:
The HPLC column tube contains a large amount of packing material with a particle size of only a few microns or even smaller. A sieve plate is an essential component to stop the loss of packing material from the liquid chromatography column. The equipment used in liquid chromatography columns is usually made of stainless steel powder with a specific particle size sintered in a model, metal material with a porous structure, and a typical pore size of 0.2 to 20 μm. The pore size of the sieve plate must be smaller than the particle size of the filler.
