Short Description:

Effects:

A: Removal of particulate impurities and strongly adsorbed sample components;

B: Prevents the formation of voids in the upper part of the column as a result of the mobile phase containing buffer salts or bases destroying the silica skeleton of the packing.

Usage: The pre-column is installed between the injector and the HPLC column.
