0.5μ, 2μ,5μ,10μ and 20μ porosity SS frits are surrounded by PEEK or PCTFE polymer rings for enhanced sealing. The dimensions of most of these frits make them suitable replacement frits for all the brands on the market filters and guard columns.

PRIMARY APPLICATION OBJECTIVES: 

Retain packing in column 

Complete distribution of sample uniformly into column 

Provide uniform flow of sample into column 

Precisely fit customer’s dimensional flow 

Must withstand high-pressure (upwards of 6000 psi) and highly corrosive applications

NOTE:

While all of the frits listed in this chapter are capable of withstanding high pressures (>5,000 psi or 345 bar), the actual pressure holding capability of each frit is usually dependent on the filter body in which it is placed.
